Couple ex-members of Saigon Kick (vocals) and Extreme (bass) come together to flail about in as many genres as possible, trying to get someone’s, anyone’s attention. From transparent groove “metal” to “heavy alternative” (ya know, Creed) to kinda Enuff Z’nuff-meets-Weezer (OK, maybe that’s stretching each influence a bit, but it sounds intriguing), Super TransAtlantic keep missing whatever they’re hoping to hit, but since the state of “modern rock” radio is so sad, this is a smattering of a lot of the garbage you’re likely to hear. All shallow, all feel-good, all well-executed, all desperate for attention.
