Vagrant naysayers beware: It’s gonna be difficult picking a bone with this one. Veterans of pre-Nevermind Seattle cornerstones Pon and Sprinkler have resurfaced in Audio Learning Center, a meticulous post-youth journey into reflection, knowledge, and appreciation of aging.

Confident, steady melodic footing positions this trio atop fragile mountains of delicate guitar lines, testing their endurance once in a while with gusts of fuzzy distortion. Chalk up another one for maturity.
