Jangly Canadian post-hardcore in the vein of Pretty Girls Make Graves (sans female vocalist) and Fugazi. More than just an imitation of their influences, All State Champion steer clear of ambiguous yelling and haphazard noodling for concise crunch of the raucous kind. Busy arpeggios spearing busy guitar octaves, thrashing about with melodic epilepsy… a nice warm-up to the full-length to come.
