Holding On By the Blindfolds We Hide Behind (Death Scene)

I’m always amazed that anyone can tolerate this junk. Trendy, yelpy “hard rock” that grew outta hardcore, but never learned to sing, and teen girls don’t seem to care, as long as they’re cute. The Thrice formula (singing and yelling, chugging and diddling guitars) watered down even more for mass consumption. Like Britney Spears, I always wonder why people don’t just hang the poster on the wall and listen to good music while fantasizing about a life of fame and riches they’ll never have. A yelpy boy band, just like all the other formulaic “alternative rock” variations of the Backstreet Boys. I’m sure they have a 100,000 Myspace friends and lots of Purevolume downloads.
