A one-woman show, having done time in Santa Barbara’s Trance to the Sun, this delicate, moody, atmospheric release is a little quiet for my taste, but beauty can be quiet and gentle. Now based in Minneapolis, Scarlet Slipping‘s Dawn Wagner is a singer/songwriter of note. Fans of Tori, Switchblade Symphony, and darkwave fans who think all the Evanescence bands are too metal should listen up.
