The Essence of Evil
by DJ Carrion

The Essence of Evil leads you into the essence of confusion. The first track, “Thorns of Love,” tries to do too much, but quickly catches your attention with cheesy lyrics like “Slowly piercing your erect nipple, As your blood is leaving your cold skin.” Just like the music, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Dueling between metal and Goth. Wolfmaster doesn’t quite perfect either genre and leaves it stuck in some kind of purgatory, trying to find its identity. A less diverse version of early Type O Negative with Sex, Blood & Murder on the mind would be the best way to describe Wolfmaster.
