Second release by these Aussies, still well-crafted indie rock, still right on my threshold for lilting. Still worshipping The Smiths, but it’s sure better than patterning your band off, well, any of the “this is the best this generation has to offer?!?” bands that grace the cover of Alternative Press. Includes a classy cover of (fellow Aussies?) Alphaville’s “Forever Young,” mixed by Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie, featured on Fox’s The O.C.
