Side A is a boisterous number that reminds me of the Crumbsuckers. Side B is a bit slower but has a very catchy chorus that’ll leave you humming for days.
“Swing It Low” features sexy, sinewy, hypnotic song-speak by Morphine’s Mark Sandman set to drums and a repetitive one-note groove that is lazily haunting.
A meticulously involved jigsaw that confuses the intellect. After having solved this jigsaw, will I be left with a keener understanding of something important?
Meaty lo-fi punk. Screeching, scratchy vocals; thick and onerous rhythmic bass lines; lots of heavy guitar distortion and crashing percussion punctuate Side A.
Chaotic, melodic, frenzied garage pop that packs a powerful punch. The B-side reminds me of Mission of Burma, the biggest compliment I can give a band.
