Henry Rollins has mellowed. Shock & Awe, his new spoken word DVD, presents Rollins as a comedian, recognizing, and poking fun at, his human inadequacies.
A great movie. Being in their mid-teens, female, and not known to each other before the band’s creation was tough enough. Add ass-nut Kim Fowley to the mix.
The live footage varies drastically in quality, but the good stuff is tremendous. Other footage, casting a light into the band’s personal life, is boring.
