Death is one of those subjects where you will get a different opinion from everyone. However, not the same can be said about suicide. It is not an opinion, it’s an emotion. It’s something that you feel inside that must be done. You have more than an opinion on suicide, you have an understanding with it. You even rely on that relationship to actually help you express and release your pain in life.

I believe that Kurt Cobain would have easily understood the words above. His music was filled with the pain and despair of someone who knew that happiness would not be found on this plane. His lyrics seemed to cry and tear from his lips as they were voiced aloud, bearing his naked thoughts for all to digest. His pain was his own, very unique and very personal. He shared this with everyone who listened. It’s not always an easy thing telling even the best of friends your problems, let alone sharing your soul with millions. I for one do not mourn Kurt’s death. I respect his decision, the same way I respect his music. He did both as a way to release the demons in his head, I just hope that this way worked.
