So many street punk/Oi! bands reference Niblick Henbane, but I’ve never really gotten a good grip on what “the originators” sounded like. Gruff. That’s it, in a word. I’ll take the Dropkick Murphys or the Business over these guys any day, but that’s just me. The bonus cover of Blondie’s “Dreamin'” is kinda cool cuz it’s so stripped down, but then again, how hard is that?
