A no-brainer here. Ramones covered by big stars, CD cover by Rob Zombie, liner notes by Steven King. Most of the covers are pretty lame, but what do you expect when you get chowderheads like Metallica and swishy poofs like U2 trying to get yer punk rock rocks off? Kiss‘ “Do You Remember Rock’n’Roll Radio?” is suprisingly balls-out, and another highight is Tom Waits‘ “Return of Jackie & Judy,” just, ya know, cuz… Pretty mellow, stylized covers by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rob Zombie, Eddie Vedder with Zeke (x2), Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Green Day, Pete Yorn, The Offspring, and Rooney.
