This is Your Pig’s Portrait (Black Market Activities/Metal Blade)
by Scott Hefflon

You’re either going to love this or think it’s horrid. It’s sure not boring. It’s kinda goregrind in humor/feel, has some non-tinny spazz, and plenty of howl and noise. One roarer is Polish death-worthy, the other sounds like the Hamburgler. And not since early Dani Filth have I heard such a “what the??” voice worked into brutal metal. Kinda cool, kinda off-putting. The bio name-drops Deadguy, Coalesce, Turmoil, Refused, Bloodlet, and Every Time I Die as influences/reference points, and with 16 devastating songs updating the punishing hardcore style, you’re bound to hear all them, plus more, until your ears ring, then bleed.
