OG prog metal act Fates Warning has undergone numerous lineup changes since its inception 30 years ago, like their contemporaries in Dream Theater and Queensryche. Thankfully, the band is ageing gracefully — more like the former than the latter – as evidenced by the muscular and melodic “Firefly,” a cut from their recent release, Darkness In A Different Light.
