Strife was one of the leaders in the ’90s hardcore scene. With their recent demise, it’s only reasonable to put out a collection of songs previously unreleased.
Twisted Dwid is prepared for the millennium. He’s got his “new” band, Integrity 2000, and he will crush all other metal bands on earth when Y2K kicks in.
“This is how we live. We don’t give a shit what you think. If you don’t like it, get the fuck out of the way.” We write horrible imitation Biohazard songs.
No Innocent Victim plays old-meets-new-school hardcore with plenty of fast parts, not-so-fast parts, chugging parts, mosh parts, stomp parts, and polka beats.
Not only do the bands here convincingly do the late ’70s rock-with-attitude shtick, they manage to squeeze in old school ska and ’50s rock’n’roll as well.
Metalcore set to fast punk beats, you know it’s Victory at work again. Some good stuff here, particularly by No Innocent Victim, Vision, and Agnostic Front.
Victory gets a thumbs up for getting diverse with the talent, cuz it’d be just too easy to find a buncha bands to go alongside Electric Frankenstein and Zeke.
